Most of the boys in the brotherhood grew up in the church and were initiated at a young age, just as they reach the cusp of manhood. In the case of Will, he was raised in the Southern Baptist Church but met and married a Mormon girl after college. He has wanted to become a part of her church after witnessing the closeness of his inlaws and all the family connections.
