Funny story - friend went to Gator Growl (huge University of Florida football event with entertainment) when Red Hot Chili Peppers first played there during that era, he'd never heard of them before. He ordered a beer and turned around and saw them wearing only tube socks and dropped his beer. It shattered at his feet and he simply walked away.
